Zhifeng Kou, PhD
Assistant Professor
Dr. Kou's research interests are regarding neuroimaging of traumatic brain injury (TBI). He uses the advanced MRI techniques to improve the diagnosis of brain injury, better predict TBI patients long term outcome, and consequently to help physicians better treat the patients. His research spans from both human subjects and experimental animal model on TBI. In Dr Kou's team, the required research skills cover from signal processing (MR pulse sequence design), biomedical image processing, neuroscience, to clinical neuropsychology.
